Fostering Profitable Growth through Innovation for Over 15 Years
Innovators Alliance is an initiative originally seeded and supported by the Ontario government. It began in 1999 when the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation established the one-day forum, The Wisdom Exchange. Designed to facilitate the exchange of business knowledge and experience among CEOs of Ontario’s fastest growing companies, the initial Wisdom Exchange was very successful. So much so that it became an annual event. Feedback from this annual event resulted in plans to expand the one-day concept into a full service organization, operating throughout the year. And so began the evolution of Innovators Alliance.
Since the launch of operations over 15 years ago, our membership has continued to grow. The limited size and diversity, yet superior quality of businesses in Ontario ensures that our journey will be an exciting one – highly recognizable and conducive to building key relationships to accelerate the growth of those involved.
In June 2008, Innovators Alliance shifted focus slightly to concentrate on encouraging fresh thinking and fostering innovation among its members in order to support aggressive growth.
