Business Overview
Nye Manufacturing Ltd. (www.nye.ca) designs and builds custom attachments for heavy equipment. Our most popular products include excavator buckets, stump harvesters, concrete pulverizers and heavy-duty grapples used in construction and demolition. We also design, build, modify, and repair excavator booms, arms, and extensions of all types.
In 1952, Jack Nye started Nye Welding, a small mobile welding company in Cooksville, Ontario. Nye’s early work included radiant heat pipe systems, repairs to heavy equipment, as well as general welding and fabricating. The company has grown to employ more than 35 full-time employees.
Our Target Markets
Nye sells to heavy equipment dealers as well as construction and demolition contractors in Canada and globally. US sales are through an exclusive US distributor.
What Differentiates Us
Nye products are well known for being the best heavy duty, no nonsense tools in the business. We specialize in heavy demolition attachments that are built to order for professional full-time demolition and construction contractors. We do not mass produce and we do not produce agricultural class or light duty products.
How We Are Currently Innovating
Nye is constantly innovating with new products, both pro-actively and to meet customer demands. Our 20-year lean journey has brought many process and operational improvements to the company. We are currently expanding our IT infrastructure in preparation for a major ERP system upgrade that will carry us well into the 2020’s and beyond.
